The Young Learners English (YLE) program at ACE Language Centre is designed to engage children in the English language through fun, interactive, and age-appropriate lessons. This program helps young learners build a strong foundation in English, preparing them for future academic success.
We at ACE Language Centre, believe that English for Young learners should not be stressful for children. It should be fun and stimulating. Reading, writing, listening and speaking in English should come naturally. As their confidence develop, they would want to learn more and use English on a more challenging level. Children and young learners from the age of 3 to 12 can combine learning English with a wide range of activities in a safe, secure and supervised environment. Our unique programme initiates children into the complexities of English in simple steps, thereby increasing their self-confidence and enthusiasm in the language. As well as learning to speak and understand English better in a supervised, yet relaxed setting children will develop social confidence, cultural understanding and meaningful friendships.
Young Learners English (YLE) is a reliable and consistent measure of how well your child is doing in the skills of listening, speaking and reading and writing. Tests are designed to make learning fun and children are encouraged by working towards certificates and earning the ‘shields’ that record their progress. There are Five levels for children to work through, Primary Starters, Starters, Primary Movers, Movers and Flyers, with Starters being the first, aimed at young children with very basic skills.
The YLE program is for children aged 7 to 12 who are new to the English language or want to strengthen their existing skills in a fun and engaging environment.
